Grand Events

Clients experience abundant floral design for every event element. From large-scale installations to lavish ceremony backdrops, table displays, chandeliers, and cocktail adornments,  every nuance of your story is artistically, florally celebrated.

    • Open to book and typically occurs 12—18 months in advance

    • 50+ guests

    • Any number of days and/or locations

    • Minimum investment of $15K

    • $20K for holiday weekends and destinations >100 miles from our Concord studio

  • Styling services include on-trend vase rentals and candle options, as well as large vessel and structure rentals. If there’s something outside of our rental inventory that will make your event even better, we will source it for you.

  • We welcome multi-day events; collaboration with an event planner is required. Delivery, setup, rental pick up and breakdown services are included.

    Optional add-on services include walkthrough site visit and tablescape mockups (coordinated with your event planner) 3-4 months in advance of your event. Your custom proposal will address every detail of your storied celebration.

intimate Events

On a smaller scale, clients experience stunning floral design services for a more intimate celebration. Every artistic floral detail is selected to perfectly reflect your story.

    • Open to book up to 4 months in advance

    • Fewer than 50 guests

    • Single day and location - maximum distance of 50 miles from our Concord studio e.g. East Bay, Napa, San Francisco

    • Minimum investment of $5K

  • Styling services include luscious silk ribbon selections to color coordinate with your palette, as well as vase rentals and candle options from our beautifully curated inventory.

  • Single location and single day events only, and while an event planner is optional, we highly recommend this service. Delivery, setup, rental pick up and breakdown services are also available. 

    Every client receives a floral vision board with their custom proposal, but there are no included site visits or mockups provided.

  • As artisan floral designers we are known for wild, raw and natural arrangements. We source premium seasonal blooms like antique roses, ranunculus, dahlias, lisianthus, hellebores, lilies and orchids. Within our compositions you will likely find unique ingredients such as fruits, vines, branches, and grasses. While we love a loose, edgy floral style, our artistic expertise allows us to match your specific vision, introducing  novel ideas that make the most of your unique story. Please visit our galleries to view our distinctive floral creativity. 

  • Mostly yes, but it depends on the seasonality of the flowers in the inspiration photo and the timing of your event. Also, many times a social media photo will be edited and colors may not accurately reflect what is found in nature. We will use your inspiration photo as just that. Give us the flexibility to use the photo as a launching point, and we will create something unique for you with a similar vibe.

  • We offer rentals of accompaniments like vases, candles, structures and unique styling props to expand your vision, and create artistic displays that optimize your event styling. 

  • Yes. Our entrypoint pricing for grand events with 50 or more guests is $15,000. Intimate events with fewer than 50 guests start at a $5,000 investment. These beginning investments align with the innovative, high quality floral designs that our clients expect from us.

  • No. Our clients expect exclusive, high-touch attention and service, and that’s exactly what we deliver. In the same spirit of quality, we require floral exclusivity in return to ensure cohesiveness in your final design.

  • We are located in the San Francisco Bay Area and while many of our clients host events throughout Northern California, we are open to traveling to your preferred destination if our visions align (calendar and project scope.) Please send an inquiry to find out more about our availability and pricing for destination events. 

  • We source the freshest and highest quality flowers from the San Francisco Flower Market and from a handful of select local flower farmers who are committed to our community's sustainability and growth. We love foraging for unique blooms and distinctive ingredients to create unforgettable floral art.

  • Yes, if you book a grand event with us, we offer full tablescape mockups complete with all rental choices at your venue or nearby showroom. This optional service allows you to experience the sizing, colors, and vibe of the florals with all of your planner-provided rental selections on hand. You and your planner will meet with our creative director Kaylia, to ensure perfect alignment for your celebration.

  • Tumbleweed Floral Design has been invited by clients to flower too many venues to mention. We artistically design expansive florals for any locale. If we haven’t worked at your event venue before, and you book a grand event with us, we will consider scheduling  a site visit about 4-6 months prior to become more fully acquainted with the surroundings.

  • Yes, it’s highly recommended because there are many moving parts involved with an important event.  An event planner brings the skills and  expertise to assure the most seamless and successful experience for you and for your guests. They can anticipate and respond to any circumstances to ensure the best outcome. You will feel well taken care of on your special day, and all the days leading up to it.

  • Sustainability and resource preservation are important to us, which is why we particularly appreciate local flowers and the values of our locally-minded flower farmers. We practice planet positivity wherever there is opportunity such as in composting, recycling, rentals, and foam-free and reusable mechanics.
