Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, Kaylia is immersed in the lifestyle and energy of Northern California. She fosters deep connections across the region and has flowered many of the exclusive venues in the area. Kaylia and her team create unique, style-aligned floral arrangements for every client celebration.

Flowers are an inherent passion for Kaylia. She has always had a deep affinity for the colorful beauty springing from nature, finding pure delight in her own childhood backyard amongst the many perennials and garden roses her family tended. Kaylia loves the endless possibilities, vibrant fragrances, and ever-changing fragility of fresh blooms, always looking for new ways to explore floral composition and break away from the expected.

Kaylia pursued her degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, studying visual design and the arts. She carries a deep understanding of color theory and aesthetics, and is recognized as a classically trained yet endlessly imaginative floral designer. Prior to opening her floral studio, Kaylia worked in the fashion industry for several years, managing sales and assisting with store visual displays for major retailers such as Anthropologie and Bloomingdales. 

Always a trend setter, not a follower, Kaylia was the girl with the flower truck starting her business in early 2014. On the San Francisco Bay Area streets, she was one of the first mobile floral artists, crafting stunning compositions and building an early reputation of recognition. Today, her innovative spirit continues to inspire her success as a sought-after floral artist for distinctive milestone events.

Kaylia and her Tumbleweed team have continued to refine floral art over the past ten years of business. Keeping an eye on planet-friendly sourcing, they support the floral micro-economy, and other local small businesses, seeking opportunities to elevate beauty and improve sustainability.
